What we collect
Nothing. Puzzle Pals has no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party software of any kind. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information — from you or from your children.
No network access
Apart from App Store purchases (below), the app makes no network requests at all. Every puzzle, picture, sound and song is built into the download, so it works the same with Wi-Fi off, in airplane mode, or with no cellular plan.
The only way out of the app is the Support section of the About screen, which can open this website in Safari. That screen sits behind a parental gate — a three-second press-and-hold followed by a multiplication question — so a child playing the game cannot reach it by accident.
Puzzle packs (in-app purchases)
Six puzzles per season are free. The rest are unlocked by a one-time purchase of a season pack, handled entirely by Apple's App Store. We never see your name, payment details or Apple ID — Apple only tells the app which packs are owned, so it can unlock them. The purchase screen sits behind the parental gate, and Apple's Ask to Buy applies to child accounts. There are no subscriptions and no consumable purchases.
Your progress & stickers
Half-finished puzzles, earned stickers and the grown-up settings are saved only on the iPhone or iPad the app is installed on. They are included in that device’s normal iCloud or computer backup if you have one, exactly like any other app’s data, and nothing is sent to us. If you delete the app, they are deleted too. The Reset All Progress button in the grown-up settings erases them on demand.
Children's privacy
Puzzle Pals is designed for children and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) the simplest way possible: by collecting no personal information from anyone, of any age. The app contains no ads, no chat or social features, and no external links outside the parental gate; the only purchases are the season packs described above, handled by the App Store behind that gate.
Purchases
The app is sold for a single one-time price through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes that payment under its own privacy policy; we never see your payment details. There is nothing further to buy inside the app.
Changes to this policy
If the app’s privacy practices ever change, we will update this page and the app’s App Store listing before the change takes effect.
