What we collect
Nothing. World Tip Calc has no accounts, no sign-ups, no advertising, no analytics, and no third-party SDKs of any kind. The app makes no network requests — all 74 country tipping profiles are bundled inside the app itself. We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information.
Location (optional)
The "Detect my location" button in the country picker uses your iPhone's location services once, on-device, to work out which country you're in. That location is used for a single moment to pick a country from the list — it is never stored, logged, or transmitted anywhere, and the app has no way to see your past locations or track you over time. You can decline the location permission and pick your country manually instead; every feature still works.
Your settings & favorites
Your home country, starred favorite countries, recently used countries, and preferences (haptic feedback, appearance, rounding options) are saved only on your device using Apple's standard on-device storage. If you delete the app, they're deleted too. None of it is ever synced to a server or seen by us.
No ads, no purchases, no tracking
World Tip Calc has no in-app purchases, no ads, and no tracking frameworks. There is nothing to opt out of because nothing is being collected in the first place.
Children's privacy
World Tip Calc does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.
Changes to this policy
If the app's privacy practices ever change, we will update this page and the app's App Store listing before the change takes effect.
